My Dear past, present and future Clients!
Most of you probably know, that I’m not just a wedding photographer, I LOVE photographing families and I plan on doing lots more family sessions this year. Some of you might know that, starting 2012, I photograph family portraits exclusively on film and my old Rolleiflex camera. Why film? In short, it makes me a better photographer. Shooting medium format manual focus camera and having only 12 frames per film makes me more aware of that perfect moment, being more observant and patient, resulting in very special and intimate photographs. Plus, I LOVE the quality of the film images; they are truly timeless and nostalgic and the whole reason I fell in love with photography. You can view my families portfolio by clicking on “family portraits” in the menu at the top of the page.
What does it mean to you, as a client (besides getting beautiful, unique images that will make your heart melt)? I have to re-structure my portrait session fees in order to compensate for the cost of film and processing. My 2012 family portrait session fee is $300 and it includes 60-90 minute session designed for up to 4 family members, 3 rolls of medium format film (colour and black and white), and online proof gallery with digital files of the images, processed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab. You will then have options to either purchase prints from the proof gallery or to buy a CD with higher resolution images. Online proof gallery will only provide you with web resolution images (not big enough for printing). Please contact me for the full price list or with any questions you might have.
So, to get keep 2012 family sessions rolling, I have a special offer – all family sessions booked for February and March will receive either complimentary CD of medium resolution images (valued at $150) or complimentary set of proofs (5×5 prints) with all the images from your session (valued at $150).
Here’s to 2012 and I hope to hear from you soon!
